Biography

UK based drummer Michael Brush, is best known as for being a member of the Norwegian gothic metal band, SIRENIA. Hitting the charts and selling out venues fully packed of happy crowds since 2001, SIRENIA is by now one of the most genre-defining bands of the gothic metal scene. Michael also performs and records for Magic Kingdom from Belgium. The band of virtuoso guitarist Dushan Petrossi. Michael Performs on the albums “Savage Requiem” (2015) and “MetAlmighty” (2019) both released via AFM Records. He also plays for Italian progressive power metallers, Holy Tide. This band has an impressive line up of international musicians including Joe Caputo (Italy) Fabio Caldeira (Brazil) Michael Brush (England) and Ex- ManOwar guitarist David Shankle (USA.) The debut album “Aquila” was released in 2019 via My Kingdom Music and features guest appearances from multi platinum artist Don Airey (Deep Purple, Ozzy Osbourne, Cozy Powell’s Hammer, Gary Moore) and Tilo Wolff from German legends Lacrimosa. Michael has also featured in articles in Rhythm magazine and many heavy metal magazines all over the world. Including, Metal Hammer, Sweden Rock, Terrorizer and Power Play. Very distinctive, tight and deep bell. Well suited for all types of musical styles that require clear stick work and a strong bell. Developed in co-operation with the legendary "The Police" drummer Stewart Copeland.
